This practice presents a risk of accidental explosions from remnants of past demolitions. Additionally, there’s a persistent risk of encountering unexploded ordnance (UXO) from World War II in many areas. 

Xtrace has partnered with Nordic Sprengstoffhund (NSH) and expanded its focus to include the effective and safe use of dogs across Norway for surveying and clearing construction sites and tunnels of civil explosives.
